We should all be proud of Magdy Yacoub. He was born in 1935 in Bilbeis, but the family used to travel (travel) to many places because his father was an important doctor.

Before he stopped working in 2001, he used to work (work) in a special hospital in London.

At this hospital, Magdy used to help (help) to give people new hearts for the first time.

Magdy Yacoub started a charity for ill children in Aswan. Very ill children didn’t use to live (not live) long lives, but many ill children can now live healthy lives.
