From the graph, it can be seen that there is a significant difference between people’s opinions when asked the question in the graph.

The highest number of people who agreed were in India, where the majority of people (80%) thought things would be better if women had more important jobs in government and business.

Perhaps the most surprising thing about the figures is that over 70% of people in the less developed countries, such as South Africa and Turkey, agreed with the question.

However, in some of the more developed countries such as Sweden and the USA, fewer than 60% of the people agreed, while in South Korea, nearly half the number of people disagreed. It is especially interesting to note that in Japan, only 43% agreed. That may reflect the fact that Japan is a very traditional society.

In conclusion, we can see that in most countries, people believe that things would be better if women had more important jobs in business or government.
