1. Match the places with what you can do there.

1. aquarium, d. You can see beautiful fish.

2. bank, a. You can borrow and save money.

3. botanical gardens, e. You can see trees and other interesting plants.

4. library, b. You can borrow and read books.

5. sports centre, c. You can play volleyball, tennis and other sports.

2. Now write sentences to say what you can do at these places.

1. cafe: You can have something to eat and drink.

2. bus station: You can catch a bus.

3. Look at the map and complete the sentences.

1. The shopping centre is opposite the station.

2. The library is next to the bank.

3. The sports centre is between the aquarium and the hospital.

4. The museum is on the corner opposite the hospital.

4. Use the map to answer these questions and give directions.

1. How do I go from the market to the bank?

From the market, turn left and go staight on.

Take the second road on the right. Go straight a head. The bank is on th left, opposit the aquarium.

2. How do I go from the sports centre to the shopping centre?

Go out of the sport centre and make sure its to your left. Go straight on past the aquarium.

Turn right and go straight on past the train station. The shopping centre is on the right opposite the station.

3. How do I go from the restaurant to the library?

Go out of the restaurant. Make sure the restaurant is on your right. Go straight on. Turn right past the hospital before you reach the museum. Turn right and go straight on, the library is on left opposite the sports centre.
